About JustSrv1
JustSrv1 is a small educational WebSocket service built as part of the justsrv1 project. Its goal is to give students and beginner developers a safe, simple playground for practising realtime connections.
What it is
JustSrv1 is a WebSocket endpoint at ws://ws.justsrv1.xyz. The service accepts connections, can echo received messages back, and supports simple broadcast scenarios. It is not a production platform — it is a learning sandbox.
Why it exists
- Understand how a WebSocket connection is established.
- Practise sending and receiving messages in real time.
- Build a simple chat or echo client.
- Work through error handling, reconnection, and connection lifecycle.
How to connect
Use the address ws://ws.justsrv1.xyz in any WebSocket client: browser JavaScript, Node.js, Postman, or your own learning code. No authentication is required. To get started, send a test message and check the response.
Limitations
The service is intended for learning only. It does not guarantee permanent availability, does not store message history, and is not suitable for personal or confidential data. Do not use JustSrv1 as a production service.
